וַֽיְהִי֙ אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֔ן וַיַּ֥ךְ דָּוִ֛ד אֶת־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים וַיַּכְנִיעֵ֑ם וַיִּקַּ֥ח דָּוִ֛ד אֶת־מֶ֥תֶג הָאַמָּ֖ה מִיַּ֥ד פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
Pagkatapos nito, sinalakay at tinalo ni David ang mga Filisteo at sinupil sila. Inagaw ni David ang Metheg-amma mula sa kamay ng mga Filisteo.

[viz. II Samuel 8] And it was after this that David smote the Philistines and humbled them, and he took Gath and its villages from the hand of the Philistines.
